Simple Turkey Gravy
Description
Our homemade-tasting gravy is foolproof, easy to make, and will surely win raves from your guests. It just doesn’t get simpler than this. Nor better.Ingredients
Makes
2 cups
- 1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 ounces Glace de Volaille Gold® dissolved in 2 cups hot water
- 1 teaspoon dried tarragon (optional)
Methods/steps
- Melt the butter in a small, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour and continue to cook until it is rich, nutty brown, stirring continuously. Whisk in the diluted stock, making sure to incorporate all the flour, and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the tarragon, if using.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
