Meat: Serve with roasted, grilled, or sautéed beef, veal, lamb, or pork.

Poultry: Serve with roasted, grilled, or sautéed chicken, duck, or turkey.

Vegetables: Serve with tomatoes, beets, mushrooms, green beans, potatoes, spinach, winter squash, broccoli, or cauliflower.

Pasta and grains: Toss cooked pasta or whole grains with Roquefort Sauce and sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts--or add some sautéed tomatoes or mushrooms. Roquefort Sauce is also delicious spooned over warm polenta.

As a dip or spread: Use chilled Roquefort Sauce as the ideal dip for crisp veggies or spicy Buffalo chicken wings, or as a spread for a roast beef sandwich.

Additions: Add a twist to Roquefort sauce by stirring in a small amount of one of the following:
  • Spirits such as brandy or bourbon
  • Crumbled blue cheese
  • Chopped toasted walnuts or pecans.
  • Crumbled cooked bacon
  • Chopped fresh parsley, chives, or sage.
  • Thin a serving of chilled Roquefort Sauce with a tablespoon of cream to make a decadent salad dressing.
Microwave Preparation* (DO NOT HEAT ON HIGH):
Method One: Place unopened pouch in microwave. Heat on Medium for 8–12 sec. (15–20 sec. for 2). If pouch is not hot, heat on Medium for 5–8 sec. more. Let stand 10–30 sec. Shake and serve.

Method Two: Empty sauce into microwave safe container. Cover with paper towel and heat on Medium for 8–12 sec. If sauce is not hot, heat on Medium for 5–8 sec. more. Let stand 10–30 sec. Stir and serve.

*Directions are based on 1100 watt oven. Heating times may vary depending on your equipment.

Stovetop Preparation: Place unopened pouch into simmering water for 5 minutes. Carefully remove pouch from water and serve.
