This classic Beef Ragu is bursting with flavor and packed with protein to keep you full and satisfied!

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. Olive Oil

½ C. Onion, finely diced

3 Cloves Garlic, minced

¼ Tsp. Oregano, dried

¼ Tsp. Basil, dried
-
1/8 Tsp. Thyme, dried

1 Celery Stalk, diced
-
1 Medium Carrot, diced
-
1.5 lb. Ground Sirloin
-
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
-
Salt
-
Pepper
-
½ C. Red Wine
-
1 Bay Leaf
-
6 oz Tomato Paste
-
6 Tbsp. Kitchen Accomplice Beef Broth Concentrate or 12 Tbsp. Kitchen Accomplice Organic Beef Bone Broth Concentrate mixed with 12 oz. hot water

1/2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Methods/Steps
Heat the olive oil in a stockpot, and sauté the onions and garlic, until soft.
Add the celery and carrot, and sauté for 2 minutes. Add your, including oragano, basil and thyme.
Season the ground sirloin with salt, pepper and Worcestershire before adding to the onion mixture to brown.
Add Kitchen Accomplice Beef Broth Concentrate or Beef Bone Broth Concentrate and wine. Scrape the bottom of the pot to incorporate browned bits. Simmer to reduce the liquid.
Stir the tomato paste into the meat mixture and then add the beef broth. Bring to a boil.
Add bay leaf and red pepper flakes. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Serve over pasta.
