How To Use Veggie-Glace Gold®

Reconstitution Suggestion:
Use one part Veggie-Glace Gold® to four parts hot water to make a classic roasted vegetable demi-glace. Bring to a gentle simmer and whisk until completely dissolved.

Available Size(s):
16 oz. (450g) - Makes approximately 2/3 gal. (2.4 l) of classic roasted vegetable demi-glace. 
1.5 oz. (42.5g) - Makes approximately 1 cup (237 ml) of classic roasted vegetable demi-glace.

It’s lovely. I use it for everything. Sauces. Glazes. Tarts (especially mushroom). Vegetable stews. In broths. Everything. Really.

Best of the Best

I make my own stock, but often us "More Than Gourmet." Just outstanding flavor and taste in french sauces or dishes. However disappointed that company seems to be dropping packs of 6 times 1.5 Oz (9 total Oz) for about $15 to $20 and replace with 16 oz tubs. The 16 oz tubs are expensive ($25) and a problem once opened you have to use it all quickly - even if I only need 2 oz for a sauce. Not sure how long will keep in refrigerator, stocks are a great petri dish for bug growth. 1.5 oz very handy and just right size. I loved the 6 1.5 oz packs. Have five 6 packs boxes half empty in my pantry. They seem to still sell 1.5oz tubs, but price has gone up by about 25%.

Just the right touch.
