nearing perfection
Used this in my authentic creole gumbo and people told me this was the best I had ever made. "Off the chain" was an exact quote. Funny thing is, my recipe is 150 years old, goes to show you can improve most anything. I am glad I found this it shaved hours off my prep time by saving me from the dreaded stock making stage and it has a more robust full flavor than what I have been making all along.

The More Than Gourmet Way to bring Seafood dishes to the Next Level
If you are making a fish or seafood based sauce or soup, a little of this Seafood Stock will absolutely ramp the flavor to the next level. Made from lobster, fish and shrimp stock, just plain water added to this stock produces a good-tasting result. This stock added to your already simmering chowder or gumbo or lobster sauce produces a flavor that you couldn't reproduce on your own with less than hours of work reducing lobster, shrimp and fish down to create your own stock.

More Than Gourmet makes several stocks and demi-glaces that rocket liquid or semi-liquid sauces and soups to the next level. If you haven't tried it, you kind of owe it to yourself to give one a try. I'm a seafood love, but the beef, chicken and classic (from condensed veal and Espagnole sauce) are all the bomb-diggety as well.

We were provided a sample of this product in exchange for this unbiased review: but there were already several More Than Gourmet containers in our pantry.

Great for bisque
okay, it is pricey for sure. But sometimes when you are making a seafood dish, you want a little more flavor. The only description of taste that i can tell you is that it has a seafood bisque taste. But I have added it to seafood gumbo and it was great. I tend to use the entire container when I use it, so it adds up. It isn't shrimpy, it is more lobstery in flavor.

Well worth the price!
We fell in love with a fisherman's soup recipe while vacationing in Belize. Since we love the More than Gourmet Demi-glace, we tried the Classic Seafood Stock in the soup recipe when we got home. It was actually better than the original recipe!

Seems pricey at first, but so much simpler(and actually cheaper) than making your own stock. And we usually get enough stock for two recipes from a single 1.5 oz. concentrate package.

Provided excellent flavor in a New Year's Eve mixed paella. We'll definitely order again.
