This is a great product. Really makes a difference in my seafood bisque. So much flavor and much less work for me! My family loves it.
Thanks Donna! Great to hear your family enjoys this
This seafood stock is amazing! It was just what I needed to easily add some flavor to my Lobster Bisque
I ran out of dashi and was craving the comforting feeling of Miso Soup. Instead, I used the MTG Classic Seafood stock, thinned it with an additional cup of water, added Miso paste, seaweed, tofu... and dinosaur kale. The results knocked my socks off. It's almost like a lobster bisque/Miso soup. I'm definitely using this stock for bisques. Thank you MTG, I am now wrapped in that wonderful "warmness" a good bowl of Miso provides. I will probably poach an egg in the soup for breakfast. I will continue to make my own dashi... but in a pinch this not only works... but add extra flavor profiles the dashi does not. Thank you MTG. You have a new and consistent customer for life! I now believe all the stunning reviews I read on your site.
We fell in love with a fisherman's soup recipe while vacationing in Belize. Since we love the More than Gourmet Demi-glace, we tried the Classic Seafood Stock in the soup recipe when we got home. It was actually better than the original recipe! Seems pricey at first, but so much simpler(and actually cheaper) than making your own stock. And we usually get enough stock for two recipes from a single 1.5 oz. concentrate package. Provided excellent flavor in a New Year's Eve mixed paella. We'll definitely order again.
okay, it is pricey for sure. But sometimes when you are making a seafood dish, you want a little more flavor. The only description of taste that i can tell you is that it has a seafood bisque taste. But I have added it to seafood gumbo and it was great. I tend to use the entire container when I use it, so it adds up. It isn't shrimpy, it is more lobstery in flavor.
